Summer Vacation at the MBA: As is tradition at the MBA we will be “on vacation” for the months of July and August and will be resuming our regular monthly meetings in September. That being said, and in the spirit of summer vacation, we are looking into a potential "social event" for one night in August. Stay Tuned! Congressman Bishop Visits MBA: On June 17th the MBA was honored to have Congressman Tim Bishop address our group. The Congressman gave a great presentation covering many of the "hot topics" including energy costs, the subprime mortgage problem and general tax issues. This was the Congressman’s third visit to the MBA and we thank him for what is always a very informative presentation and open dialog. Website Upgrades: The MBA Board has authorized addition funds to further upgrade our website. This latest revision will be providing "links" from our member listing to individual members websites. Accordingly in the next few weeks each member will be receiving and e-mail requesting your homepage address so that we can incorporate this upgrade to the website. |
